Os KAPIs come\u00e7aram como uma pr\u00e1tica de pol\u00edtica social significativa a fim de apoiar o envelhecimento da popula\u00e7\u00e3o. Atualmente, na Gr\u00e9cia, cada munic\u00edpio \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel por pelo menos um KAPI onde os idosos podem participar em atividades como pintura, exerc\u00edcio f\u00edsico, participa\u00e7\u00e3o em viagens \u2013 por exemplo, visitas a museus \u2013, ou cuidados m\u00e9dicos e sociais, como fisioterapia e apoio psicol\u00f3gico. Os KAPI visam alcan\u00e7ar m\u00faltiplos objetivos, tais como a preven\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas biol\u00f3gicos, psicol\u00f3gicos e sociais das pessoas idosas, a fim de permanecerem membros aut\u00f3nomos, iguais e ativos na sociedade.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

O objetivo do programa \u00e9 familiarizar as crian\u00e7as com a abordagem metodol\u00f3gica da narra\u00e7\u00e3o de hist\u00f3rias como forma de reunir diferentes gera\u00e7\u00f5es, aumentando o tempo passado com os av\u00f3s. Este programa contribui significativamente para a percep\u00e7\u00e3o de que esta intera\u00e7\u00e3o pode ser interessante e divertida. O principal objetivo \u00e9 aumentar a quantidade de tempo que as crian\u00e7as passam com os idosos. O projeto baseia-se numa s\u00e9rie de cursos de forma\u00e7\u00e3o implementados em v\u00e1rias regi\u00f5es do Sul de It\u00e1lia. Os jovens estudantes dirigem estes cursos e os participantes s\u00e3o pessoas idosas em risco de exclus\u00e3o social. Os jovens estudantes est\u00e3o encarregues de transmitir conhecimentos e informa\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas sobre dispositivos tecnol\u00f3gicos aos idosos.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

O projeto consiste numa vasta gama de atividades destinadas a permitir que os idosos interajam e socializem. A maioria destas atividades visa transferir conhecimentos te\u00f3ricos sobre estilos de cozinha, bem como sensibilizar para a import\u00e2ncia de estilos de vida saud\u00e1veis, especialmente quando se trata de cidad\u00e3os fr\u00e1geis. Muitas atividades incluem exerc\u00edcios pr\u00e1ticos nos quais os idosos podem aprender “na pr\u00e1tica” novas no\u00e7\u00f5es e t\u00e9cnicas de uma forma que a experi\u00eancia global seja divertida e frut\u00edfera.<\/span><\/p>\n

Palermo apre le porte<\/b><\/h3>\n

Esta \u00e9 uma iniciativa que incide principalmente na redescoberta do patrim\u00f3nio cultural e hist\u00f3rico da cidade de Palermo. Cada escola envolvida escolhe um local de patrim\u00f3nio espec\u00edfico (monumento, igreja, pra\u00e7a, etc.) e aprende toda a informa\u00e7\u00e3o sobre o mesmo. Depois, os mesmos estudantes “abrem” os s\u00edtios do patrim\u00f3nio hist\u00f3rico ao p\u00fablico em geral, apresentando e explicando as principais caracter\u00edsticas de cada s\u00edtio. Uma estrat\u00e9gia semelhante \u00e9 aplicada no Centro Diurno Anziani (Centro P\u00fablico para idosos), onde os idosos procuram especificamente informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre o Sorgente del Gabriele, utilizando livros, jornais antigos e tamb\u00e9m a Internet. Em seguida, apresentam o Sorgente del Gabriele ao p\u00fablico em geral.<\/span><\/p>\n

Na regi\u00e3o italiana da Emilia Romagna, os Centros de Dia est\u00e3o habituados a organizar pequenos espet\u00e1culos de teatro, coros, leituras de contos e poemas por ocasi\u00e3o das festividades italianas. A boa pr\u00e1tica consistiu em transferir este conjunto de conhecimentos e compet\u00eancias consolidadas dos idosos para uma iniciativa que visava proporcionar al\u00edvio e alegria \u00e0s crian\u00e7as hospitalizadas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cada Centro de Dia para idosos envolvido escolhe um conto de fadas e os idosos v\u00e3o ao Hospital S. Orsola-Malpighi, levando todo o equipamento preparado, e recitam os contos de fadas para as crian\u00e7as hospitalizadas. <\/span><\/p>\n

Aldeias de Mem\u00f3ria<\/b><\/h3>\n

Esta boa pr\u00e1tica \u00e9 realizada em aldeias muito t\u00edpicas do interior de Portugal. Algumas dessas aldeias est\u00e3o quase abandonadas. Os mais jovens migraram, e as \u00fanicas pessoas que l\u00e1 vivem s\u00e3o os mais velhos. Em oito dessas aldeias, os idosos contam hist\u00f3rias \u00e0queles que as visitam. Os seus perfis foram inclu\u00eddos num website com o apoio da C\u00e2mara Municipal e das Juntas de Freguesia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Algumas dessas aldeias est\u00e3o quase abandonadas, uma vez que as gera\u00e7\u00f5es mais jovens tiveram de procurar empregos e oportunidades noutros locais geogr\u00e1ficos. Os mais jovens abandonaram e as \u00fanicas pessoas que l\u00e1 vivem s\u00e3o os mais idosos.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A abordagem do projeto consistiu em ir aldeia por aldeia, alcan\u00e7ando os mais velhos, e pedir-lhes que partilhassem hist\u00f3rias perto de uma lareira e acompanhadas com a comida mais genu\u00edna da regi\u00e3o.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

As pessoas mais velhas levam os seus conhecimentos culturais e hist\u00f3rico-art\u00edsticos a crian\u00e7as e jovens estudantes, bem como a pessoas mais velhas e outros grupos que est\u00e3o exclu\u00eddos da possibilidade de usufruir dos benef\u00edcios do prazer cultural.<\/span><\/p>\n

Esta boa pr\u00e1tica est\u00e1 a ser realizada desde 1995 pela C\u00e2mara Municipal de Le\u00f3n em La Candamia, num grande jardim da cidade de Le\u00f3n. Nesta zona natural, a C\u00e2mara Municipal criou pomares de lazer para pessoas idosas. Os pomares s\u00e3o cultivados utilizando t\u00e9cnicas tradicionais que revalorizam os conhecimentos dos idosos.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Est\u00e1 provado ser uma excelente terapia ocupacional e de lazer para pessoas idosas, proporcionando-lhes espa\u00e7os livres alternativos que lhes permitem realizar atividades f\u00edsicas em contato com a natureza.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Esta boa pr\u00e1tica foi um projeto europeu que visava prevenir o abandono escolar precoce dos adolescentes e, ao mesmo tempo, permitir um caminho para o envelhecimento ativo, tornando os idosos capazes de dar uma importante contribui\u00e7\u00e3o social.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A iniciativa consistiu em formar os idosos para se tornarem mentores de adolescentes, servindo-os como guia, modelo, e dando-lhes apoio. <\/span><\/p>\n

This is an initiative that mainly focuses on the re-discovery of the cultural and historical heritage of the city of Palermo. Each involved school picks up a specific heritage site (monument, church, square, etc.) and learns all the information about it. Then, in the days of 7-8 May 2016, the same students \u201copen\u201d the historical heritage sites to the\u00a0 general public, presenting and explaining the main characteristics of each heritage site. A similar strategy is applied in the Centro Diurno Anziani (Public Centre for elderly people), where the elderly specifically search for information about the\u00a0 Sorgente del Gabriele, using books, old newspapers and the Internet as well. The good practice consisted of transferring this set of consolidated knowledge\u00a0 and skills of the elderly into an initiative aiming to provide relief and joy to hospitalised\u00a0 children.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Each involved Day Centre for elderly people chooses a fairy tale and the elderly go to S. Orsola-Malpighi Hospital, bringing all the prepared\u00a0 equipment, and recite the fairy tales for the hospitalised children.<\/span><\/p>

This programme was created to unify all the Senior Universities of the country, so that they share good practices among them. RUTIS promotes studies about the elderly population to understand their needs and how the Social Assistance programmes are working. The\u00a0 recognition of the relevance of the elderly volunteers gained some importance in the last\u00a0 years as a way to encourage the social inclusion of the seniors.<\/span><\/p>

It is an award to support projects that promote active, healthy and at-home ageing for people over the age of 65 in situations of social vulnerability. The applicants submit their applications and a panel of judges evaluates every project and decides which project deserves to be funded.<\/span><\/p>

Elderly cultural volunteers to show Museums to children, youngsters and retired people<\/b><\/h3>

This is a national programme that started in 1993. The project created mobile libraries, through which older people can\u00a0 pass their knowledge and experience to the younger generations. Older people bring their cultural and historical-artistic knowledge to children and young students, as well as to older\u00a0 people and other groups that are excluded from the possibility to take benefits of cultural\u00a0 pleasure.<\/span><\/p>

The Orchards of La Candamia\u00a0 <\/b><\/h3>

This good practice is being carried out since 1995 by the Municipality of Le\u00f3n in La\u00a0 Candamia, a big garden of the city of Le\u00f3n. In this natural area the City Council has created leisure orchards for elderly people. The orchards are cultivated using traditional techniques\u00a0 that revalorise the knowledge of the elderly.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

It has been proved to be an excellent occupational and leisure therapy for older people,\u00a0 providing them with alternative free spaces that allow them to carry out physical activities\u00a0 in contact with nature.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>

The initiative consisted of training elderly people to become mentors of teenagers, serving\u00a0 them as a guide, model, and providing them support. <\/span><\/p>
